These capsules are available in two sizes to allow a selection of dosages. The amount of powder that will fit into a given capsule size depends on the density of the powder and loading method:
- Size “0” fits up to approximately 500mg powder.
- Size “00” fits up to approximately 750mg powder.
Empty Vege Capsules are transparent and allow the loaded powder to be seen.
Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (Hypromellose) Capsules
Pull the two halves of the capsule apart. Load your powder into the larger capsule half. Push the open end of second half of the capsule into the filled capsule. Twist the capsule to lock the two halves into place.
Empty Vege Capsules are not appropriate for encapsulating liquids and oils.
