Slippery Elm is rich in various nutrients and mucilage that coats the mucous membrane linings. This soothing herb helps support a healthy digestive tract, intestinal tissues and normal elimination.
- Slippery Elm contains soluble fibre which acts as a prebiotic to help maintain the balance and growth of friendly bacteria in the intestines.
- Slippery Elm forms a gelatinous fiber or mucilage in water. This supports the bulking and passing of stool, and cleansing of the bowels.
