The Harvia Virta Pro takes everything people love about the Virta, the clean lines, the deep stone bed and that soft, rolling löyly, and scales it up for bigger rooms. It's built for large home saunas, apartment and body-corporate saunas, gyms, hotels and spa facilities where a standard residential heater would be working flat out all day.
A generous 100 to 140 kg stone load stores a huge amount of heat, so the room recovers quickly between ladles and the steam stays gentle rather than sharp. The heater body is a durable black steel frame with an open stone mass, and the wall-mounted profile keeps it compact for its output.
Which size do I need?
- HL135 (13.5 kW): sauna rooms of 11 to 20 m³
- HL160 (15.8 kW): sauna rooms of 16 to 25 m³
- HL220 (21.6 kW): sauna rooms of 22 to 32 m³
Not sure where your room sits, or have a lot of glass? Send us your room size and we'll help you pick, no rush.
Why you'll love it
- Big stone mass: 100 kg (HL135, HL160) or 140 kg (HL220) for deep, soft steam
- Commercial-grade: designed for long operating hours and high user numbers
- Space efficient: only 340 to 410 mm deep, with close safety clearances
- Smart-ready: pairs with Harvia's Fenix and Xenio WiFi controls and the MyHarvia app
- Genuine Harvia: designed and built in Finland
Control panel (required, sold separately)
- HL135 and HL160: a Harvia Fenix FX170 or Xenio CX170 handles these on its own.
- HL220: 21.6 kW is above the 17 kW a single control unit can switch, so it also needs an LTY17 power extension unit.
Good to know
- Sauna stones are sold separately (5 boxes for the HL135 and HL160, 7 boxes for the HL220).
- A Harvia HL5 front safety railing is available to suit.
- Installation must be completed by a licensed electrician to NZ regulations and Harvia's manual.
