The Harvia M3 is Finland's go-to cabin stove: compact, tough and quick to heat. Its thick steel firebox and front-loading door get a 6 to 13 m³ sauna up to temperature fast, and the stone basket on top gives you proper löyly when you throw water. Simple, honest and built to last decades.

Choose the M3 to feed the fire inside the sauna, or the M3 SL, which has a 210 mm longer fire tunnel so you can feed it from a changing room or from outside, keeping wood and ash out of the hot room.

• Harvia WHP1500 black insulated chimney set (Ø115 mm): 1.5 m insulated stainless steel chimney, 1 m flue pipe, ceiling lead-through, rubber roof flashing and rain cap
• Harvia WL260 floor protection plate (800*400 mm) for in front of the firebox door
• Water heater option: Harvia Thermio WP250TH 25 L tank with remote tap
  • The benefit of this is that when your pour cold water on your heater, this cools down your stones, whereas pouring warm water allows your heater to hold its heat better

Can I put it straight into my sauna?

• Floor: the stove must stand on a non-combustible floor. On a tiled floor with a waterproof membrane or a timber floor, add Harvia protective bedding (WL110 is available below). Just ask if you're unsure
• Safety distances: 1,200 mm to the ceiling and 250–300 mm to combustible walls and benches, as shown in Harvia's manual. Harvia's protective sheaths can reduce this in tight rooms
• M3 SL: the wall the fire tunnel passes through must be fire-safe (for example masonry) around the opening. Your installer will set this up
• Chimney height: the chimney set suits one ceiling and roof. Taller rooms may need a WHP500 / WHP1000 extension (max. 5 m total)

Installation

• Installer: the stove and chimney must be installed following Harvia's manual (downloadable below) and the safety distances in the specifications.
• Ventilation: a fresh-air inlet low down near the stove and an outlet high up on the far side of the room, as shown in the manual.
