Welcome to HealthHQ! We’re committed to providing high-quality wellness products that stand the test of time. This Warranty Policy outlines what’s covered, what’s not, how to make a claim, and your responsibilities to maintain coverage.
✅ What’s Covered
We warrant that your HealthHQ product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the warranty period listed below.
This warranty applies to:
- Structural defects in saunas and ice baths
- Malfunctions in electrical components
- Manufacturing faults from the date of delivery
❌ What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage during shipping, storage, or incorrect installation
- Natural wood variations or cosmetic wear and tear
- Improper use, neglect, or lack of maintenance
- Modifications or alterations to the product
- Environmental exposure (e.g., rust, mould, UV degradation)
- Commercial use beyond adjusted coverage (see below)

🏢 Commercial Use Warranty
Products used in commercial settings (e.g., gyms, rentals) are covered for 25% of the standard warranty duration, unless otherwise stated in writing.
🧰 Warranty Limitations & Exclusions
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Your warranty will be void if:
- The product is altered, modified, or used outside its intended purpose
- It is installed on unstable or unsuitable surfaces
- Maintenance is irregular or water chemistry is poorly managed
- Chlorine is used in chillers (strictly prohibited)
- Non-OEM filters or parts are used
- Sand, grit, or debris enter the system
- Pipes freeze in cold environments
- Electrical work is not completed by a qualified professional
- Power surges or voltage spikes cause damage
- Repairs are attempted by unauthorised parties
- The unit is resold or purchased second-hand
👤 Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:
- Use only HealthHQ-approved filters and components
- Change water filters every 1–3 months based on usage
- Maintain proper water chemistry (especially for ice baths and chillers)
- Keep systems free from debris, sand, or contaminants
- Ensure all installations are completed by professionals
- Follow all sauna maintenance and installation guides - link
- Treat outdoor wood regularly with CD50x - Link
- Place unit on a strong, flat foundation
- Ensure proper ventilation for electrical and sauna products
- Seal outdoor infrared saunas with Sika Clear MS sealant - Link
- Clean saunas regularly with warm water and vinegar (avoid harsh chemicals)
- Use towels during sauna sessions to protect wood
- Avoid entering the sauna soaking wet after swimming or ice bathing
- Cover outdoor infrared saunas when not in use
🔁 Repairs, Replacements & Credit
If a replacement is required:
- We will supply the same model, subject to availability and updated specs
- If the model is discontinued, a store credit for the original purchase value may be issued
- Warranty coverage includes parts only — labour and return shipping are not covered
- On-site servicing is available in Christchurch only; remote support or product return may be required for others
⚠️ Important Usage Guidelines
It is the responsibility of the owner to inspect and maintain key systems regularly, including:
- Treating outdoor wood
- Checking filters, pumps, and chillers
- Maintaining clean and balanced water
Failure to follow maintenance guidelines or the use of unauthorised chemicals will void your warranty.
⚖️ Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted under New Zealand law, HealthHQ will not be liable for:
- Loss of income or business
- Installation, removal, or re-delivery costs
- Property damage or personal injury
- Any indirect, special, or consequential damages
For products purchased for business or commercial use, protections under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 may not apply.
🏡 Site Compliance & Installation Responsibility
It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local council requirements such as:
- Building or resource consents
- Fencing or safety regulations
HealthHQ is not liable for:
- Installation adjustments
- Site preparation issues
- Removal, relocation, or labour charges resulting from non-compliance or warranty claims
🛠️ How to Make a Warranty Claim
To lodge a claim:
- Email info@healthhq.co.nz within 7 days of identifying the issue
- Include:
- Your name and order number
- Product name and description of the issue
- Clear photos or video evidence
We’ll respond within 3–5 business days with next steps.
If approved, we may:
- Ship replacement parts
- Arrange for product repair or replacement
- Issue a full or partial refund
Important:
- Returned products must be clean
- Return shipping and disassembly costs are not covered
- Labour or reinstallation costs are not included under warranty
